Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), bulk organic-strength metrics, estimated optically from UV254 and turbidity.
TOC and COD are foundational organics metrics in drinking water and wastewater, respectively. Laboratory methods are accurate but slow. AquaRealTime's UV254-based sensors generate continuous TOC and COD estimates by combining UV absorbance, turbidity correction, and a site-specific lab-calibration model, bridging the gap between regulatory lab numbers and real-time process control.
