TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
Total Suspended Solids, the mass concentration of particles suspended in water.
TSS is the regulatory cousin of turbidity. Where turbidity measures optical effect, TSS reports a mass per volume, the metric written into most discharge permits. AquaRealTime's optical TSS sensors use multi-angle scattering and site-specific calibration to convert the optical signal into mg/L without daily filter-and-weigh lab work.
